AttendX calculates attendance targets using the numbers already shown to you on your EduPlus Campus page (subjects, present/absent counts, and similar figures). All of that calculation happens on your own device, inside your browser. Your attendance numbers, subject names, marks, or anything else on the page never leave your computer and are never sent to me or anyone else.
The only thing AttendX sends anywhere is a small anonymous check-in, once a day, so I can see roughly how many people are using the extension and whether it still works after the campus site changes. This check-in contains three things only:
college.edupluscampus.com), so I know which campuses are actually using itNo names, marks, attendance numbers, student IDs, browsing history, or anything else from the page is read or sent.
You're asked for consent the first time you install the extension. You can turn this daily check-in off at any point from the extension's settings. Once it's off, nothing further is sent.
The check-in data goes to a server I run myself. It is not sold, shared, or transferred to any third party, and it is never used to determine creditworthiness, for lending, for advertising, or for any purpose unrelated to running and maintaining AttendX.
